Dismantling dashboard

Fig 1: Identifying Time / Temperature / Trip Computer Module Screws & Connector

Remove time / temperature module center bottom. Undo the two screws and the connector.

NOTE:

Do not pull lead: hold connector and carefully pull straight out.

Remove screws from printed circuit board and remove board: 11 screws marked A, 4 marked B and 6 marked C, as per figure.

Remove screws from baseplate and lift baseplate off: 9 screws marked D in figure.

Remove symbol disk or faulty instrument module.

Install new symbol disk or instrument module.

NOTE:

Do not touch instrument panel or gauges.

Install baseplate and screw in position. 9 screws for plastic, marked D in figure.

Install printed circuit board and screw down. Put right screw in right place. 11 screws type A with metric threads. 4 screws type B with plastic threads and pointed ends. 6 screws type C with plastic threads and blunt ends. Do not tighten screws too tight.

Install time / temperature module and screw in place and connect connector.
