Erasing DTCs

DTCs cannot be erased until all DTCs in store have been read at least once, i.e. until the first DTC appears a second time.

To erase DTCs in DTM 1, proceed as follows:

• Press button and hold down for more than 5 seconds.
• Release button. LED will come on and stay on after 3 seconds.
• Press button again and hold down for at least 5 seconds.
• Release button. LED will go out.

DTCs are now erased.
