Code 2-3-4: Throttle Switch Signal

  1. Turn ignition off. Connect an ohmmeter between terminal No. 7 (Orange wire) of ignition system ECU connector. Reading should be zero ohms.
  2. Press accelerator pedal slightly to open throttle switch. Reading should be infinite. If resistance is not as specified, check resistance at throttle switch. For throttle switch testing and adjustment, see the SYSTEM/COMPONENT TESTS article.
