Bleeding Brake System
NOTE:
Use only DOT 4 grade brake fluid. Brake system bleeding unit must be used if system has been drained partially or completely.
- Fill brake fluid reservoir to MAX level. Connect hose to bleed valve on left rear wheel. Submerge hose in bottle containing brake fluid.
- Open bleed valve. Have an assistant slowly pump brake pedal 5 times, then hold pedal down on last stroke. No air bubbles should be visible. Close bleed valve.
- Check brake fluid level after each cycle. Bleed remaining wheels in the following order: right rear, left front and right front.
