Idle Speed & Ignition Timing

If adjustable, ensure idle speed and ignition timing are set to specification. See IDLE SPEED & CO LEVEL and IGNITION TIMING tables. For idle speed adjustment procedures, see ADJUSTMENTS article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section. Ignition timing is not adjustable.
