Checking Fluid Level

  1. Position vehicle on level floor. Apply parking brake and shift selector lever to the "P" position. Start engine and let idle. Shift selector lever through all gears while pausing 4-5 seconds for engagement at each position.
  2. Return selector lever to the "P" position. Wait 2 minutes and check fluid level with engine idling. Level must be between "MIN" and "MAX" marks.
