Control Units
All models use a separate Electronic Control Unit (ECU) for both fuel injection and ignition control. Both control units are electronically linked to provide precise control of fuel and ignition. Both systems have self-diagnostic capabilities and use same diagnostic unit for testing.
NOTE:
Components are grouped into 2 categories. The first category covers INPUT DEVICES, which control or produce voltage signals monitored by control unit. The second category covers OUTPUT SIGNALS, which are components controlled by control unit.
