Idle Speed

  1. Ground CIS (Constant Idle Speed) test point lead. Test point is Red-White wire in 2-wire connector (Green-White wire is test point for oxygen sensor). Grounding wire will set air valve wide open. See Fig 1 .

  2. Use air bleed knob located under throttle body to set basic idle speed to 700 RPM.
  3. Disconnect ground wire from CIS test point. Engine speed should increase to 750 RPM.
