Neutral Safety Switch
- Switch is located at and directly controlled by the gear shift control lever. Place selector lever in "P" position. Adjust neutral safety switch to set "P" mark at center of switch lever.
- Place selector lever in "N" position. Confirm "N" mark is at center of switch lever. Move selector lever from "P" to "1" and back again.
- Check that control pin does not slide out of switch lever. See Fig 1 . Check that engine only starts in "P" and "N", and that the back-up lights illuminate in position "R" only.
