Steering System - Power: Description

Power steering is rack and pinion type. All 760 GLE and some DL, GL and Turbo models use a cam gear type with aluminum housing. Other DL, GL and Turbo models use a ZF gear type with removable valve housing.

Steering consists of the rack and pinion steering gear and a power-assist pump interconnected with flexible lines. A separate reservoir is attached to the power steering pump.
