Catalytic Converter

CIS Lambda systems can control air/fuel ratios within 0.02%. This close regulation allows the use of a 3-way catalyst that can decrease NOx, HC, and CO emissions. The converter can be damaged by improper adjustment of the system or by the use of leaded fuels.
