Windshield Projection Head Up Display Control Module J898, Removing And Installing: Removing
If the control module is replaced:
-- Perform the necessary function/functions. Use the Vehicle diagnostic tester . Refer to Diagnostic Entries .

-- Remove the windshield. Refer to Windshield, Removing and Installing .
-- Remove the lighting strip. Refer to Dynamic Information Lighting Strip 3 L385, Removing and Installing .
-- Remove the cover for the instrument panel/windshield projection. Refer to Instrument Panel/Windshield Projection (Head-Up Display) Cover, Removing and Installing .
-- Move instrument panel noise insulation to the side.
-- Cover the control module -1- with a soft cleaning cloth.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
-- Remove the control module -1- inward and disconnect the connector.
