Shift Mechanism, Removing And Installing: Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
New shift by wire selector mechanism
Tip
When delivered, the T-bar -1- is inserted and locked.
-- Remove the t-bar -1- in -direction of the arrow A- and insert in -direction of the arrow B-.
-- Route the rope without loops.
Continuation for all vehicles
-- Align the gearshift housing so that it is parallel to the body.
-- Refer to Selector Lever Cable, Checking and Adjusting (Bolted Cable Retainer) , or Selector Lever Cable, Checking and Adjusting (Clamped Cable Retainer) .
