Windshield Projection Head Up Display Control Module J898, Removing And Installing: Removing

If the control module is replaced:

-- Perform the necessary function/functions. Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to Diagnostic Entries .

-- Pull the steering wheel as far back and downward as possible.

-- Move instrument panel noise insulation to the side.

-- Cover the control module with a soft cleaning cloth.

-- Remove the bolts -1- through -3-.

-- Pull the control module out until the connector -4- is accessible.

-- Unclip the clip -5- and free up the wire.

-- Disconnect the connector -4-.

-- Remove the control module.
