ATF Level, Checking: Filling

-- Install the adapter from the Oil Filler :VAS 6262 A into the check hole hand-tight.

-- Shake the fluid containers before opening.

-- Attach the Oil Filler :VAS 6262 A to the fluid bottle. Pay attention to the instructions while doing so. Refer to Note the following information: .

-- Fill one liter of ATF.

-- Remove the Adapter for Oil Filling :VAS 6262 A at the quick-release coupling and check it.

If ATF flows out of the adapter hole:

ATF does not need to be topped off.

-- Allow the ATF to drain until it drips.

-- Install the ATF check plug with a new seal. The ATF level test is now completed.

If no ATF drips out of the hole:

-- Add another liter. Refer to Filling .

NOTE:

If the ATF circuit is opened, it must be bleed after checking the ATF circuit. Refer to ATF CIRCUIT, BLEEDING .

Then the ATF level must be checked again. Refer to Checking .
