Sliding Sunroof, Checking Function, Cleaning And Lubricating Guide Rails

Special Tools and Equipment

-- Lint-free cloths

-- Lubricant:G 060 172A3 for seals

-- Grease: G 060 751A2 for the moving parts.

-- Brush

NOTE:

Adapt a commercially available paint brush (approximately 15 mm wide) with service equipment (bend approximately 40°).

Clean all components that are going to be lubricated using a lint-free cloth.

-- Glass panel position:

-- Lubricate the front part first with the glass panel open and the tilt the glass panel in the rear.

-- Coat the glass panel seal -arrow- completely with Lubricant:G 060 172A3 .

-- Lubricate the inside of the glass panel guide rails -arrow- with Grease:G 060 751A2 .

-- Glass panel position:

-- Lubricate the sides of the guide rails for the sliding headliner for the sliding headliner -arrow- with Grease:G 060 751A2 .
