Transmission Fluid Level, Checking

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Torque Wrench 1331 5-50Nm: VAG1331 

It is not possible to check the transmission fluid level by removing oil filler plug.

Due to the angle of the engine/transmission assembly, the lower edge of the filler hole -arrow 1- is located below the fluid level -arrow 2-.
