MULTIFUNCTION Transmission Range Switch, Adjusting
Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Gauge - Multi Function Switch: T10173
-- Move the selector lever into "N".
-- Do not bend the selector lever cable.
Adjustment Requirements:
- The selector lever cable is removed from the selector lever.
- The selector shaft is in "N".
- The bolts are loosened from the Multifunction Transmission Range Switch -F125-
- The selector lever is removed from the front selector shaft
-- Install the Gauge - Multi Function Switch: T10173 on the selector shaft -2- and turn the Multifunction Transmission Range Switch -1- until the Gauge - Multi Function Switch locks onto the tab on the connector on the Multifunction Transmission Range Switch.
If the connector tab cannot engage into the Adjusting Device groove, then the transmission is no longer in "N". If this is the case, shift the transmission into "N" using the Adjusting Device.
-- Use the bolt -3- to secure the Adjusting Device to the selector shaft -2-.
-- Tighten the bolts -arrows- to the tightening specification.
-- Remove the Adjusting Device.
-- Further installation is performed in reverse order of removal. Refer to Multifunction Transmission Range Switch -F125-, Installing .
