Radiator Fan - VX57-, Checking
General Description
The Radiator Fan -VX57- is used to dissipate the waste heat produced during vehicle operation to the ambient air via the radiator. For this purpose, the Radiator Fan -VX57- produces a directed mass air flow, the flow rate of which is controlled with the radiator fan control module. The required mass air flow is adjusted to ambient conditions and the cooling power requirement of individual components of the cooling system (e.g. internal combustion engine). A malfunction of the electric radiator fan can have an impact on the temperature management of the internal combustion engine.
