Front Door

The doors have an outer and inner panel. They are not pre-assembled door subframes.

All inner components are mounted through a large assembly opening. The assembly opening is sealed with a plastic cover that has a passage for the door opening cable.

The window regulator motor is attached to the inner door and forms a unit with the window regulator in the door.

The door window is attached to the window regulator during assembly. To remove the window, press the locking lugs. The lugs are accessible through the assembly opening.

The exterior mirror has a new mounting point. It is attached with two screws. These screws can be accessed after the trim cover is removed.

The electrical connector for the exterior mirror goes to the door control module.

The door window guide seals are mounted and secured with a locking clip in the corner of the windshield frame and the triangular A-pillar window.

On two-door vehicles, the B-pillar gap seal is bonded onto the B-pillar in the side window area.
