Overview - Control Module And Hydraulic Unit, RHD, Abs Mark 60 EC
Do not confuse the brake lines when connecting them to the tandem master cylinder and the ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55-. Mark the lines in their installed position before removing them.

- Brake master cylinder/secondary piston circuit to hydraulic unit
- Identification: 6.5 mm diameter and tube fitting with a M12 x 1 thread
- Brake Line, Connecting. Refer to BRAKE LINES, ATTACHING TO HYDRAULIC UNIT .
- Brake Line
- 14 Nm
- Brake master cylinder/primary piston circuit to hydraulic unit
- Identification: 6.5 mm diameter and tube fitting with a M12 x 1 thread
- Brake Line, Connecting. Refer to BRAKE LINES, ATTACHING TO HYDRAULIC UNIT .
- Brake Booster
- Overview. Refer to OVERVIEW - BRAKE BOOSTER/BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER .
- The required vacuum is supplied either by the intake manifold or by a vacuum pump.
- Function Test:
-- Forcefully press brake pedal several times with engine switched off. This dissipates any vacuum present in the unit.
-- Hold the brake pedal with average foot pressure and start the engine. If the brake booster is working properly, the brake pedal will be felt to give noticeably under foot (booster becomes effective).
- Replace the complete brake booster if there are faults.
- Vacuum System, Checking. Refer to VACUUM SYSTEM, CHECKING .

- Identification: 5.25 mm diameter and tube fitting with a M12 x 1 thread
- Brake Line, Connecting. Refer to BRAKE LINES, ATTACHING TO HYDRAULIC UNIT .

- To the left front brake caliper
- Identification: 5.25 mm diameter and tube fitting with a M10 x 1 thread
- Brake Line, Connecting. Refer to BRAKE LINES, ATTACHING TO HYDRAULIC UNIT .
- ABS Control Module -J104-
- Removing and installing. Refer to ABS Control Module -J104- /ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Disconnecting from the ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55-. Refer to CONTROL MODULE, SEPARATING FROM HYDRAULIC UNIT .

Socket Bolt
- 2 Nm + 0.8 Nm
- Always replace if removed.
- Rubber BushingWARNING:
When installing the bracket, make sure the rubber bushing does not push out of the bracket. Make sure the ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55- is secure after installing it otherwise malfunctions can occur.

- Spray the rubber buffers -item ) OVERVIEW - CONTROL MODULE AND HYDRAULIC UNIT, RHD, ABS MARK 60 EC - List Item: Rubber Bushing with Silicone Grease Spray before installing.
- after installing, make sure it fits properly

- Removing and installing. Refer to ABS Control Module -J104- /ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Disconnecting the ABS Control Module -J104- from the ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55-. Refer to CONTROL MODULE, SEPARATING FROM HYDRAULIC UNIT .
