Motor Pump Assembly, Removing And Installing: Installing: Notes

Install In Reverse Order Of Removal. Note The Following:

NOTE:

Replace the gaskets and seals.

Hose supports and hoses must be free of oil and grease before installation.

Secure all hose connections with new hose clamps. Refer to the Parts Information.

-- Bleed steering system. Refer to POWER STEERING SYSTEM, BLEEDING .

-- Check the hydraulic fluid level and fill if necessary. Refer to appropriate service information

-- Check the steering system for leaks. Refer to STEERING SYSTEM, CHECKING FOR LEAKS .
