Radio/Navigation Systems -R- / -J503-: Removing

Perform the following steps before starting: 

-- Remove any CD's that may still be in the unit.

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the key.

Perform the following: 

-- Remove the center console cover -arrows- using the Trim Removal Wedge 3409.

-- Remove the cover.

-- Disconnect the connector from the center console cover -arrows- and remove it.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- from the radio/radio-navigation system.

-- Pull the radio/radio-navigation system out of the installation slot just far enough so that the connectors on the back are accessible.

-- Press the connector lock -arrows- together in the direction of the arrow.

-- Move the locking bracket in the direction of -arrow- up and disconnect the connector.

-- Disconnect the connectors -arrows- from the antenna connections.
