Cd Changer -R41-: Removing

NOTE:

The CD changer is built into the glove compartment.

Perform the following steps before starting:

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the key.

-- Remove any remaining CD's in the CD changer if necessary.

-- Remove the glove compartment from the passenger side. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Remove the glove compartment with the installed CD changer out from the instrument panel.

-- Disconnect the connector -A- from the glove compartment and remove the cable tie -arrow-.

-- Pull on the retaining strap -A- and lower the CD changer.

-- Slide the Radio Removal Tool 3316 into the designated right and left slits on the CD changer -arrows- until they audibly engage.

-- Remove the CD changer with the radio removal tool from out of the glove compartment -arrows-.

-- Press on the retaining clip -arrow- and remove the release tool from out of the device.
