Fault code 00955 005 or 00956 005 may be set in the Vehicle Electrical System Control Module -J519- if the remote key fob is depressed repeatedly, or a button is held down. Customer may complain the remote no longer operates.
To reset, remove the cover over the lock on the driver's door handle, cycle the key to lock, and then back to unlock. This should synchronize the remote and allow operation. Clear the fault and retest operation.
