Instrument Cluster: Notes
DTC recognition and display, refer to DTC RECOGNITION AND DISPLAY .
Replacing the instrument cluster, refer to REPLACING THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER .
Coding the instrument cluster, refer to CODING THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER .
Instrument cluster output diagnostic test mode, refer to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER OUTPUT DIAGNOSTIC TEST MODE .
Reset the Service Interval Display, refer to SERVICE INTERVAL DISPLAY, RESETTING .
Instrument cluster component functions can be checked using On Board Diagnostic (OBD) program function "Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM)". Refer to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER OUTPUT DIAGNOSTIC TEST MODE .

- Tachometer -G5-
- Coolant temperature gauge -G3-
- Oil level thermal sensor -G266-
- Speedometer -G21-
- Outside air temperature sensor -G17-
- Fuel level sensor 2 -G169-
- Fuel gauge -G1-
- Fuel level sensor -G-
- Indicator lamps, refer to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER OVERVIEW .
All warning and indicator lamps are equipped with light-emitting diodes (LEDs) which cannot be serviced or replaced separately. In the event of malfunctions, the complete instrument cluster must be replaced. Refer to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER .
