Checking wires to Transmission Control Module (TCM)

• Connect test box to control module wiring harness. Refer to Test box, connecting for wiring test

• Check for open circuits in wires between test box and 20-pin harness connector to Transmission Control Module (TCM) according to wiring diagram.

Terminal 3 + socket 28

Terminal 4 + socket 29

Wire resistance: max. 1.5 Ω

• Also check wires for short circuit to each other, to vehicle Ground (GND) and to B+.

Specified value: ∞ Ω

If no malfunctions are found in wires:

• Check resistance of Intermediate Shaft Speed Sensor -G265-. Refer to Checking sensor resistance  .
