Test requirements

There must not be any DTCs stored in DTC memory. Refer to Diagnostic mode 3: Check DTC Memory
Intake air temperature 5 to 35 ° C. Refer to Diagnostic mode 1: Check measured values
Coolant temperature approx. intake air temperature (5 to 35 ° C). Refer to Diagnostic mode 1: Check measured values

Work procedure

Read readiness code. Refer to Readiness code, reading
Let engine run at idle.
Under address word 33, select "Diagnostic mode 6: Check test results of components that are not continuously monitored".
Select the "Test-ID 03: Secondary Air Injection (AIR) system"

Check specified values at idle.

Check combination valve. Refer to Combination valve, checking .

Erase DTC memory of Engine Control Module (ECM). Refer to Diagnostic mode 4: Reset/erase diagnostic data
Generate readiness code. Refer to Readiness code, generating
