Description & Operation

Mirrors can be adjusted electrically from inside by operating control switch on driver door panel. If electrical control of mirror does not operate, mirror can be adjusted manually.

Adjustment control operates only when ignition is on. Outside mirrors are electrically heated when rear defogger is turned on. To adjust mirrors on all models, select "L" or "R" on mirror selection switch. Then press control switch in direction mirror is to be moved.

On Passat, both mirrors can be adjusted at the same time if "L" or "R" is not selected prior to adjustment. A power fold-flat feature is also available to aid parking clearance. To operate fold flat feature, press "L" and "R" buttons of mirror switch at the same time.
