Full Throttle Enrichment Function

  1. Run engine at idle until coolant temperature is at a minimum of 176°F (80°C). Stop engine and connect CO tester and tachometer. Start engine and run at idle for 2 minutes. Accelerate engine slowly to about 4500 RPM.
  2. CO reading must be .3-1.1%. Using male end of jumper plug, bridge terminals of wiring harness connector for throttle valve switch. CO reading must increase to above 1.5%. If CO reading does not increase enough, replace ECU.
