Steering Wheel: Multi-Functional Switches
The switches on the right-hand side control the drive-related functionalities:
- Adaptive cruise control
- Intelligent speed limiter
Steering wheel switches Highway Autopilot
- "GAP -" button decreases the distance to the vehicle in front by one bar
- "SPD +" switch
- short press: increases the target speed value by 1 km/h
- long press: increases the target speed value by 5 km/h
- "GAP +" button increases the distance to the vehicle in front by one bar
- "RES/CAN" button cancels or resumes the VinPilot function
- "SPD -" switch
- short press: decreases the target speed value by 1 km/h
- long press: decreases the target speed value by 5 km/h
- ACC button - Advanced Cruise Control
- VinPilot button
- ISA button - Intelligent Speed Adaption
Highway Assist (SAE Level 2) is a driver assistance system that controls acceleration, deceleration and steering control in highway scenarios. It assists drivers not only during monotonous highway driving, but also in traffic jam conditions, to guarantee a safe and comfortable trip.

The switches on the left-hand side control the multimedia functions:
- Telephone
- Volume control (up, down, mute)
- Audio source (SRC)
OK: Press the button to confirm/select currently selected focus for each information list interface
+/-: Press the corresponding "+"/"-" button to increase or lower the volume
</>: Press the corresponding "<"/">" button to select next/previous track for music/radio
Press the phone answer button to accept call.
Press the voice command button to activate voice control.
Audio source (SRC): Press the button to transfer sound resource among radio station/USB/Bluetooth/network music.
The navigation keys are multifunctional and can be assigned via the touchscreen, to adjust the side mirrors, for example.
Steering Wheel: Stalk Levers
The left-hand stalk controls light functions:
- Turn signal lights
- High beam flash
Light control:
Turn signal/lane change signal:
- Fully push up/down to end resistance point to turn on the right-/left-hand turn signal light.
- Move stalk in the opposite direction to cancel operation.
- For lane change signal, slightly push up/down once, the right-/left-hand turn signal light will flash 3 times.
- Green arrow indicators will light up on MHU to show which turn signal is operating, with a clicking sound.
- The turn signal in the MHU is automatically cancelled when a turn is completed, and the stalk will return to its initial position.
- Park light: when car is parked, push up the lever to turn on the left-hand lane change signal light.
High beam/Auto High Beam (AHB) control:
- Push the stalk away from the driver to switch high beam on, and the high beam indicator will light up in blue in the MHU IPC area.
- Low beam must be on to switch on the high beam.
- Pull the stalk towards the driver, and the high beam indicator in MHU will light on and off when the stalk is returned to its initial position.
BC press:
- Press the end button on the left-hand stalk lever to enter the MHU trip computer interface (BC).
The right-hand stalk controls the wiper and washer functions.
Front wiper and washer:
Auto wiper:
- Press the end button to switch the auto wiper on, the indicator light will turn on.
- Press the end button a second time to switch the auto wiper and indicator light off.
- Scroll the center roller up/down to adjust the sensitivity (3 levels).
Normal wiper:
- Push the lever up slightly to 1st position and release, the stalk lever will return to initial zero position, and the low-speed intermittent wiper operation will be activated. Pull in the opposite direction to cancel operation.
- Push the lever up into end position and release, and the lever will return to initial zero position, and the wiper be operated at a certain high speed. Pull in the opposite direction to cancel operation.
- Pull down the lever and release, the lever will return to initial zero position, and the wiper will operate a single time.
Washer and wiper/cleaning the windshield:
- Pull the lever towards the driver, and the system will spray washer fluid onto windshield and briefly activate wiper operation.
Rear wiper:
- Twist away clockwise into 1st position point to activate rear wiper operation, the rear wiper will operate in intermittent mode.
Rear washer and wiper/cleaning the rear window:
- Continue to twist away clockwise into 2nd position point, water will be sprayed with wiper operation.
- Twist anti-clockwise, in the direction of the driver, water will be sprayed with wiper operation.
Operation:
Steering Wheel: Electrical Adjustment
- The steering wheel can be controlled from MHU and steering wheel left-hand side switches.
- Tap the transparent bubble on steering wheel area in car buddy from HMU.
- Press the button on left-hand side of the steering wheel to adjust the steering wheel position.
- Press the "+"/"-" button to adjust the steering wheel angle tilt up and down.
- Press the left and right arrow button to adjust the steering wheel to telescope towards and away from the driver.
- Press the corresponding button, and the steering wheel will move intermittently in the corresponding direction.
- Keep pressing the button, and the steering wheel will move continuously.
EASC - Electric Adjustable Steering Column
EASC allows the electrical adjustment of steering wheel height and/or length to suit driver's preference. The electrical adjustment also allows a preferred position to be programmed in the driver's profile (memory function).
