3.0) ISSUE DESCRIPTION
Vehicles may have a condition that the wireless charger cannot support charging or sometimes charging with interruptions on certain phones (especially latest models) when it is placed on the wireless charging mat.
4.0) SOLUTION SUMMARY
- Upon customer complaint, replace the front and rear wireless charger with an updated part which is an improvement.NOTE: Rear wireless charger applicable to specific vehicles only.
- A further fix would be replacing the wireless charging mat(s) (Front and Rear) with an updated part (reduced thickness).NOTE: (wireless charging mat(s) replacement need to apply later to the vehicles based on the availability of service parts (New Technical Services Bulletin will release later), so the vehicle may still exhibit the same symptoms).
5.0) REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS
- Strictly follow all requirements in this document.
- If you have any difficulty or require assistance, raise a ticket in CMS/VTAG system.
- Replace the Front and Rear wireless charger with an improved part by following the STP procedures.
