Have the Repair actions fixed the customers concern?
NOTE:
Some ECU's require the ignition to be off for a period of time before being able to clear DTC's after carrying out repairs.
Follow these steps to verify the customers concern has been addressed
- Turn Vehicle OFF.
- Ensure any repairs are complete including replacing any removed/disassembled components or connectors.
- Carry-out any required programming or setup procedures required by any affected ECU's
- Clear DTC's
- Turn Vehicle OFF for 60 seconds.
- For a DTC related repair, replicate the Operating Conditions for that DTC or refer to the snapshot/extended data for operating conditions to verify the DTC does not reset.
- For a non-DTC related repair, replicate to conditions specified by the customer concern to verify the concern does not return.
If the concern has not been addressed or another fault has presented itself, then go back up the checklist to an appropriate restart point.
