Battery Positive Cable Junction Block Removal And Installation/Replacement

- Read Warnings and Instructions before disconnecting the battery.
- Refer to DANGER AND WARNINGS
- Refer to General Warnings and Safety Regulations, See HIGH VOLTAGE SAFETY AND SYSTEM INFORMATION .
Removal Procedure:
- Remove front trunk. Refer to FRONT TRUNK REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
- Loosen nut (1) do not remove it.
Torque: 6 Nm
- Pull off the battery negative cable from the Battery negative terminal by carefully moving it to and fro. Do not pry using a tool.
- Move the battery negative cable to one side and secure.
- Open the cover (1) and loosen the nut (2) of the Battery positive cable.
Torque: 6 Nm
- Unlock and disconnect electrical connector (1) from the battery sensor.
- Remove nut (2).
Torque: 8 Nm
- Use a suitable screwdriver to release the latches (1) and (2).
- Remove the upper cover (1) from the pre fuse box to access the cable.
- Remove 3 nuts (1)
Torque: 4.5 Nm
- Remove 3 nuts (2)
Torque: 12 Nm
- Remove nut (3)
Torque: 4.5 Nm
- Loosen the pre-fuse box at the markings (2).
- Remove the pre-fuse box (1) from the 12V Battery upwards.
Installation Procedure:
- Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following
All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification.
- Install front trunk. Refer to FRONT TRUNK REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
