External Charging

  1. Remove battery "-" terminal.
  2. Remove battery "+" terminal.
  3. Connect an appropriate charger, select 12V and the correct charging program for sealed lead-acid batteries.
  4. Connect the "+" output of the charger to the "+" terminal of the battery, which is located under the Pre Fusebox upper cover.

    NOTE: "External charging '+'ve output not to be connected in fuse box '+'ve terminal which is under fuse box cover"
  5. Connect the "-" output of the charger to the "-" terminal of the battery.
  6. Turn on the charger.
    NOTE: Always refer to the latest Service Instructions in STP. Make sure that the battery is not overheated during external charging.
