Front Floor Console Removal And Installation/Replacement

Mobile Repair Possible:  Van/Car

Removal Procedure: 

1. Remove front floor console rear cover. Refer to FRONT FLOOR CONSOLE REAR COVER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT 
2. Remove rubber mat (1).
3. Remove the 2 screws (1).

   Torque: 3 Nm 

4. Open front floor console armrest.
5. Unclip the storage tray (1) from the latches (arrows) using a suitable plastic tool.
6. Unclip the storage tray (1) and pull it out upwards.

7. Unlock and disconnect 2 electrical connectors (1).
8. Remove the storage tray (2).
9. Remove rubber mat (1).
10. Remove 3 bolts (1).

    Torque: 3.5 Nm 

11. Move front seats until bolts (1) are accessible.
12. Remove 2 bolts (1) on both sides.

    Torque: 3.5 Nm 

13. Disconnect the 12V Battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION

14. Pull front floor console (1) backwards out of the guides.
15. Unlock and disconnect 3 electrical connectors (1).
16. Remove front floor console (2).

Replacement Procedure: 

1. Rebuild console harness. Refer to CONSOLE HARNESS REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
2. Rebuild front floor console rear air duct. Refer to FRONT FLOOR CONSOLE REAR AIR DUCT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Rebuild front floor console cup holder bezel trim. Refer to FRONT FLOOR CONSOLE CUP HOLDER BEZEL TRIM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT 
4. Rebuild front floor console side lower trim. Refer to FRONT FLOOR CONSOLE SIDE LOWER TRIM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT 
5. Rebuild front floor console side upper trim. Refer to FRONT FLOOR CONSOLE SIDE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT 
6. Rebuild Wireless Charger Front. Refer to WIRELESS CHARGER FRONT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

   Installation Procedure: 

   Installation note: Front floor console guides must be positioned in the marked recesses! Check seal (1) for damage, replace if necessary. 

7. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 

8. Install Front Floor Console Rear Cover. Refer to FRONT FLOOR CONSOLE REAR COVER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT 
9. Install front floor console cup holder bezel trim. Refer to FRONT FRONT FLOOR CONSOLE CUP HOLDER BEZEL TRIM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT 
10. Reconnect 12V battery negative cable. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
