Operating Conditions

Enable Criteria For all 6 cases:
Battery voltage is between 10V to 18V
AND Ignition On
  1. No Level A DTC

AND After EPS assist power Ramp Up

  2. No Level A DTC

    AND GATE Driver is normal

  3. No Level A DTC
  4. No Level A DTC
Failure Criteria
  1. Steering Wheel counter calculated by Motor position is turned Over 40 rotations to one direction.
  2. Detected failure by gate driver
  3. MCU Hardware Failures handled by SMU (Safety Management Unit) Peripheral; e.g. lock step Error, access protection violation, Flash ECC, RAM ECC, DFLASH ECC etc.
  4. The POK 5V flag from regulator is monitored, if regulator has fault, it will set LOW.
  5. |Vbat - Vbridge| > 2V
  6. If power on at different timing, arbitration error will occur.

[Other ECU status! = (INIT_CMPL or PAS_FAIL)] when system init

Failure/Mature Time
  1. 50 ms
  2. 32 ms
  3. Immediately
  4. 24 ms
  5. 500 ms
  6. 3000 ms
Pass Criteria
  1. Steering Wheel counter calculated by Motor position is turned under 40 rotations to One direction
  2. Gate driver is valid
  3. MCU hardware is valid
  4. Regulator is valid voltage
  5. |Battery voltage - Bridge Voltage| less than or equal to 2V
  6. ECU1 and ECU2 have power on in same time.
Pass/De-mature Time Immediately
Failure Aging 40 ignition cycles
