Operating Conditions

Enable Criteria ECU On
IGN On
Battery Voltage is between 9 V to 16V
Failure Criteria When the steering wheel angle is out of sensor specification for longer than 100 ms, ECU detects the failure. Normal range: < |780deg|
Failure/Mature Time 100 ms.
Pass Criteria Once SAS is under 780deg after IGN OFF/ON
(Recovery deferred for 1.5 second after IGN ON)
Pass/De-mature Time Immediate.
Failure Aging 40 Ignition cycles.
