Front Seat Occupant Sensor Module Removal And Installation/Replacement

Mobile Repair Possible:  No

Removal Procedure: 

1. Remove the front seat cushion trim cover and foam pad on passenger side. Refer to FRONT SEAT CUSHION TRIM COVER AND FOAM PAD REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

2. Remove 2 screws.

   Torque: 2 Nm

3. Swivel the mounting plate for cushion modules (1) downwards in the direction of the arrow and remove it from the anchorage.

4. Remove 2 screws (1).

   Torque: 2 Nm 

5. Unlock and disconnect the 2 electrical connections (2).
6. Remove the front seat occupant sensor module.

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 

2. Install the front seat cushion trim cover and foam pad. Refer to FRONT SEAT CUSHION TRIM COVER AND FOAM PAD REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
