Technical Description:

The system uses 4 ultrasonic sensors in the front of the car and 4 sensors in the rear.

Rear parking sensors are engaged automatically when the reverse gear is selected. The front sensors can be engaged or disengaged with a button on the console. The system is not active in P gear.

Visual warning: Atop view of the vehicle appears as soon as the park distance control (PDC) is activated. The distance range of the sensors is represented by the colors red, orange, yellow and green.

A warning tone is given when nearby obstacles are detected.

Remote parking (RP) is a driver assistance system that allows the user to park and exit a parking space automatically. The user has two different options: 1 - Park and 2 - Exit.

When the driver is driving the vehicle, the vehicle scans the sides of the road as the vehicle drives past and informs the driver when there is a parallel, perpendicular, or angled parking spot, or when an available predefined/stored parking location is detected within a couple of meters.

The driver can request the vehicle to exit its parking spot, without any further driving, by selecting this option on the remote device. This feature can also be used if the vehicle is parked inside a building (and a cellular connection is not available).

360° Surround View Monitoring (SVM) is a driver assistance system that covers the entire surroundings of the vehicle by creating a distortion-free stitched image for a safe and comfortable parking experience. The operating speed range of the system is 0-30 km/h, and R gear has no speed limit.
