Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Removal And Installation/Replacement

Mobile Repair Possible:  Van Only

Removal Procedure: 

The procedure for the left-hand component is identical to that for the right-hand side. 

1. Remove rear wheel. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

2. Unlock and disconnect electrical connector (1).
3. Detach rear wheel speed sensor from mounts (2).

   Installation note: Pay attention to proper cable routing.

4. Remove bolt (1).

   Torque: 8 Nm 

5. Remove rear wheel speed sensor (2).

   Installation note: Clean the threaded hole and treat it with corrosion protection. Thinly grease the contact surface. 

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 

2. Install rear wheel. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
