| Software cannot be installed and used |
- Computer must be a 64-bit system,
- You need administrator rights to install this software,
- Turn off any third party anti-virus software,
- The login username of the computer cannot contain any Chinese characters or any spaces,
- You need sufficient hard drive space available on the system C drive,
- Reboot the computer and try to install again,
- If none of these work then try installing on another computer.

| The software could not connect to the vehicle |
- Check if the hardware device is connected properly,
- If using WIFI mode, try using the direct USB connection,
- Close VINFAST-IDS and restart the computer,
- Check IDS is permitted access to network through windows firewall,
- Check the vehicle is powered on and the system voltage is OK,
- Check CAN connection and wiring at OBD port is OK,
- Check for any cable damage for connections to VCI module,
- Perform a VCI reset by disconnecting/reconnecting,
- If none of these work try another VCI module.

| Software cannot be upgraded |
- Computer must be a 64-bit system,
- Confirm the network connection and VPN are working,
- After the download is complete, if the installation prompt box does not appear, minimize VINFAST-IDS (or ALT+TAB) and check the taskbar as the installation window may be in the background.

| The four LED lights of VCI Module flash frequently and it starts to beep |
- Perform a VCI reset operation by disconnecting from the vehicle and computer to allow the VCI unit to turn off.
- Once all the lights have turned off, the unit has been reset and can be plugged in again.
