Operating Conditions

Enable Criteria Wheel Speed Sensor:
ECU On
Battery Voltage is between 7V to 17V
Valve driver:
ECU On
Failure Criteria Wheel Speed Sensor:
  1. A failure is detected if Wheel Speed Sensor IC block BIST (built in self-test) longer than 30 ms.

Valve driver:
  1. If VVR less than 5V continuously for 165 ms while the valve relay is on, the failure is detected (ABS, ESC/BBS Valve Relay)
  2. A failure is detected if VVR_D - VVR_S greater than 1±1.5V continuously for 165 ms while the valve relay is on (ABS, ESC/BBS Valve Relay)
  3. A failure is detected if VVR_G - VVR_S less than 6±0.8V continuously for 165 ms while the valve relay is on (ABS, ESC/BBS Valve Relay)
  4. A failure is detected if VVR greater than 6V more than 25 ms while valve relay is ON and shutdown is ON (ABS, ESC/BBS Valve Relay)
Failure/Mature Time Wheel Speed Sensor:
30 ms
Valve driver:
See Test Failed criteria/Confirmation Failure criteria
Pass Criteria Wheel Speed Sensor: Current is normal.
Valve driver If initial check is normally ended.
Pass/De-mature Time Immediate.
Failure Aging 40 Ignition cycles.
