Remote parking (RP) is a driver assistance system that allows the user to park and exit a parking space automatically. The user has two different options: 1. Park and 2. Exit.
When the driver is driving the vehicle, the vehicle scans the sides of the road as the vehicle drives past and informs the driver when there is a parallel, perpendicular, or angled parking spot, or when an available predefined/stored parking location is detected within a couple of meters.
The user can request the vehicle to exit its parking spot, without any further driving, by selecting this option on the remote device. This feature can also be used if the vehicle is parked inside a building (and a cellular connection is not available).
360 Surround View Monitoring (SVM) is a driver assistance system that provides entire surroundings of the vehicle by creating a distortion-free stitched image for a safe and comfortable parking experience. The operating speed range of the system is 0~30 km/h, and R gear has no speed limit.
