Intermediate Shaft: Removal

Remove pinch bolt mounting intermediate shaft to upper universal coupling. Remove pinch bolt at bottom securing intermediate shaft universal joint to rack pinion. With front wheels set in a straight ahead position, slide intermediate shaft upward disengaging it from universal joint on pinion shaft. Pull intermediate shaft downward to disengage from upper universal coupling.
