Installation [03/2024 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL REAR SPEED SENSOR 
    NOTE:
    • Do not drop the sensor. If the sensor has been dropped, replace the sensor with a new one.
    • Remove any dirt or foreign matter on and around the connector before performing this step.
    • Do not allow water, oil or dirt to enter the connector.

      1. Install the rear speed sensor with the nut.

        Torque: 8.3 N.m (85 kgf/cm, 73 in.lbf) 

        NOTE:
        • Keep the tip of the rear speed sensor and installation hole free of foreign matter.
        • Firmly insert the rear speed sensor body into the rear axle housing before tightening the nut.
        • After installing the rear speed sensor, make sure that there is no clearance between the rear speed sensor stay and rear axle housing. Also make sure that no foreign matter is stuck between the parts.
      2. Connect the No. 2 parking brake wire assembly connector to the rear speed sensor.
  2. INSTALL REAR WHEEL 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2023 - ]

  3. CHECK FOR SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL 

    for Gasoline Model: Refer to SIGNAL CHECK [12/2023 - ]

    except Gasoline Model: Refer to SIGNAL CHECK [03/2024 - ]
