- Interview the customer and confirm the problem.
- CHECK DTC, FREEZE FRAME DATA AND VEHICLE CONTROL HISTORY (RoB)*
- Check and record DTCs and Freeze Frame Data.
Chassis > Trailer Brake Controller > Trouble Codes
- Clear the DTCs and Freeze Frame Data.
Chassis > Trailer Brake Controller > Clear DTCs
- Reconfirm the DTCs.
- Reconfirm the DTCs based on the recorded DTCs.

HINT:
- When CAN communication system DTCs are output, repair the CAN communication system first.
- If the GTS cannot communicate with the trailer brake control ECU (brake control with bracket relay), inspect the CAN communication system.
- If there is no response from the trailer brake control ECU (brake control with bracket relay), inspect the supply power circuit.

- Reconfirm the DTCs based on the recorded DTCs.
- Check the Vehicle Control History (RoB).
