Removal [11/2015 - 12/2018]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

- DISABLE BRAKE CONTROL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- REMOVE REAR WHEEL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- LOOSEN NO. 1 WIRE ADJUSTING NUT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
- REMOVE PARKING BRAKE LEVER PROTECTOR
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [11/2015 - 11/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [11/2017 - ]
- SEPARATE NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [11/2015 - 11/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [11/2017 - 12/2018]
- SEPARATE REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7
- REMOVE REAR DISC
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [11/2015 - 11/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [11/2017 - 12/2018]
- DISCONNECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE
- REMOVE REAR AXLE HUB AND BEARING ASSEMBLY
- Remove the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10
HINT:
- The rear speed sensor is a component of the rear axle hub and bearing assembly. If the rear speed sensor is malfunctioning, replace the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.
- If the rear speed sensor rotor needs to be replaced, replace the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.
- Remove the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.
