On-Vehicle Inspection [08/2015 - 08/2017]: Procedure
- CHECK STOP LIGHT CONTROL RELAY (BRK NO. 1, BRK NO. 2)
- Remove the 2 stop light control relays from the engine room relay block.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
FOR BRK NO. 1Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 3 - 4 Battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher Battery voltage not applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω 3 - 5 Battery voltage not applied to terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher Battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω FOR BRK NO. 2Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 3 - 4 Battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher Battery voltage not applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.
- Install the 2 stop light control relays.
