Heated Oxygen Sensor: Removal: Procedure

  1. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

      *a HO2S
      *b Wrap Rag
      *c Airflow Hole

      Refer to REMOVAL

    2. Lift up the vehicle.
    3. Remove the insulator.

      Refer to REMOVAL

    4. Disconnect the HO2S connector.

      *a Vehicle Front
      *b HO2S
      *c Clip
      *d Connector
    5. Remove the clip from the body.
    6. Remove the HO2S using the SST.

      *a Vehicle Front
      *b HO2S
      N*m (kgf*cm, ft.*lbf): Specified torque
      • SST: 49L018001
